The Remedies Consultation is a free application that, among other functions, allows to compare the price of medicines in pharmacies. The catalog gathers establishments across the country, a good way to find out where the products are cheaper. Thus, the user can have more information about the remedies and still save at the end of the month.

The application is available for Android and iPhone (iOS) smartphones, in addition to having a web version. In this tutorial, we teach you how to use the Remedies Consultation on your cell phone to compare prices in both pharmacies in any region and in those that deliver to your address.

Finding Remedies in Pharmacies in Any Region

Step 1. Download the Remedies Consultation and, after opening it for the first time, pass the introductory screens by pressing the "Next" button. On the last screen, click "Register Later".

Step 2. Enter the trade name or active ingredient of the drug you are looking for. The app will display search suggestions. In this example, we select the generic drug without distinction of laboratory.

Step 3. The Remedies Consultation will tell you how many medicines he has found in the research. Note that generic remedies are identified with a yellow "G" as highlighted in the image. Slide your finger down until you find the lowest priced medicine and then touch the card.

Step 4. The drug will be displayed at the top of the screen with its name, active principle and laboratory. Below, all your presentations will be listed. Select the desired one - in this case, a box with 20 50 mg tablets - to see the prices of that presentation in each pharmacy. When you find the lowest value, touch "Go to the store."

Step 5. Press the "Go to the pharmacy site" button or wait a few seconds to be redirected. Finalize your purchase as usual.

How to look for medicines in your city's pharmacies

Step 1. If you want the app to search only for pharmacies that deliver in your region, the search must be done through the "My Lists" tab. Before that, click on "Settings" and enter "Access my account". Open the "Create Account" tab to create a new e-mail address or, on the "Sign in" tab, sign in via Facebook.

Step 2. Go back to the Settings main screen and see that the first item has changed to "My Account". Enter it, fill in your full address and tap "Save."

Step 3. Tap the "My Lists" tab and click the "+" icon to create a list. Give it a name and press the "Create List" button.

Step 4. Now touch the item "Search products". Enter the name of the product and select the most appropriate option.

Step 5. In the most appropriate remedy (according to presentation and price), click the "Add" button. A menu to add the drug to the list will open. Select the presentation and click "Continue."

Step 6. Mark the list in which you want the drug to be included and click "Add". Once the product is added, touch "Close".

Step 7. The application will automatically display only the stores that deliver to your zip code. Just check which one has the lowest price and click "Buy". Depending on the region, the Remedies Consultation allows you to purchase directly from the app. If the feature is not enabled in your location, click "Go to your pharmacy site" to complete the purchase.
