Google Maps gains group planning; learn how to use

On Wednesday, Google Maps won the ability to create collaborative lists to plan group outflows of people. The user can add restaurant options, for example, and share with friends. These can add new locations and vote with a joystick or give dislike. Sharing the list, with a link to Maps, is performed by email, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, among other networks.

In the following tutorial, check out how to use the novelty. The procedure was performed on a Moto E4 with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Step 1. Open Google Maps and tap or tap on one of the explorer options. In the results list, simply keep your finger on the name of the establishment to add it to your list.

Step 2. A floating balloon will be displayed on the right side of the screen. Tap on it to access the list with the places you've added. If you want to remove an item, touch it and swipe left.

Step 3. To send the list to your friends, touch "Share". You can then add a name to the list. Then touch "Share". again.

Step 4. The sharing menu will be displayed. Choose the email or chat app with which you want to send the link to the list. Your friend will need to have the Google Maps app installed on their mobile phone to be able to view the list and vote on the options.
