Google Maps has improved route sharing last Friday (19). The feature, once exclusive to Android, is now available on iPhone (iOS). The user can share the location in real time through third-party applications such as WhatsApp and Messenger. It is also possible to send car, walking or pedaling routes. The live location automatically ends when the sender arrives at his destination.
In the following tutorial, check out how to share your trip on Google Maps with your friends. The procedure was performed on an iPhone 8 with iOS 12, but the tips are valid for users of models with Android. Google reports that the feature is already available to everyone in the latest version of Maps - learn how to update your apps.
