Before you begin, you need to find out which channels are in use in your area and then choose the one best suited for your network. In this other tutorial, you can take a step-by-step look at how to find the most free pattern in your location.

Step 1. Access the router configuration page. To do this, open an Internet browser of your preference (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or others), type in the search bar the IP address "192.168.0.1" (without quotes) and hit Enter. Step 2. You will be redirected to the login page of the router's configuration panel. Fill in the username field with "Admin" (without quotation marks) and leave the password blank. Do not forget to click "Login";

Step 3. Click on the top menu "Wireless" and then on the "Fundamentals of Wireless" submenu;

Step 4. In the "Channel" list, under "Mode" and above "Bandwidth", select the channel number most suitable for your wireless network and click "Apply" to save the change;
