How to check TIM balance

TIM's more than 56 million customers can check credit by mobile phone in a number of ways. You can listen to the balance over the phone or view the value by running a USSD code on the dialer or by the carrier application, available for free for Android and iPhone (iOS).

In the following tutorial, check out three ways to check out your credit on TIM prepaid cell phones. The procedures were performed on a Moto E4 with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but the tips are also valid for Apple phone users.

Step 1. Open the phone dialer. Call * 222 and enter option 3 to listen to your balance.

Step 2. If you want, you can use a USSD code to check your balance by text message. In this case, type * 222 # and press the power button. After a few moments, your balance will be displayed on the screen.

Step 3. Open the My TIM app and log in to your account. You must provide your phone number with a four-digit DDD and password. If you do not know your password, touch "I forgot my password" to receive the code by SMS. After this process, enter the new password and check the "Balances" table with the available recharge. The application informs the expiration date of each value added by the client.
