How to download and install YouTube on LG smartphone

LG's smart TVs with webOS system bring the YouTube app to watch videos and manage your channel. The app allows you to view any service content on the TV screen, including what is purchased or rented online.

How to download YouTube to TV

Step 1. Turn the TV on and press the home icon button to open the interactive menu;

Step 4. Use the virtual keyboard to enter "YouTube". Then select the "Search" virtual button and press the "Ok" button on the remote control;

Steps to login to your account

Step 1. Open the smart menu again to select the YouTube card. Then press "Ok" on the remote control;

Step 2. Navigate to the avatar icon and press "Ok";

Step 3. At this point, use the "Login" button;

Step 4. A message will appear on the screen stating that you need the YouTube application previously logged into another device to log in to the TV. To proceed, open the YouTube app on a tablet or mobile;

Step 5. Tap on your avatar, located in the upper right corner of the screen. Then the login screen on the TV will be displayed. At this time, use the "Continue as (YouTube username)" button;

Step 6. To end the action, use the "Allow" button. Once this is done, your account will appear on YouTube on your TV.

Using the YouTube app on TV

Step 1. In the options bar, select the magnifying glass icon to open the application's video search tool. Just use the virtual keyboard on the right side of the screen to enter terms and find corresponding content on the site;

Step 2. Select the home icon to access the app's home screen. The start menu displays recommended videos and content offered according to themes. Browse suggestions for finding new videos to watch;

Step 3. Select the video thumbnail icon to view your signatures on YouTube. Browse among names to find content to watch and news from your favorite channels;

Step 4. Select the folder icon to view your watched video history, saved content to watch later, and purchases. Under "My Videos, " check out what's available on your channel;

Step 5. When you find a video in the application, select the thumbnail and press the "OK" button on the TV remote control. Use the video management buttons to control the playback of content.
