How to Have a Restaurant at The Sims 4 Gourmet Escape

The Sims 4 Gourmet Escape is one of the EA content packages for PC (Origin), PS4 and Xbox One, where Sims can have their own restaurant. But creating a dining experience is not a simple task. Buy a restaurant

Obviously, the first step to starting the restaurant project is by acquiring a location in one of the available worlds of The Sims. The business model is very similar to the Sims 4: At Work confectionery, galleries and boutiques, where Sim is the boss and does all the management and training part of the company's employees.

Step 1. In the lower right corner of the screen, select the "My Business" icon. Then choose the "Buy a Restaurant" option;

Step 2. Choose a batch already exists or build one from scratch. You can also place restaurants from the Gallery, from the Gourmet Escape package;

Transfer money to the company

Family money is not the same as your business. Before setting up the restaurant, the Sim must transfer an amount to finance the place. This amount deposited into the company account will be used for advertising, furniture purchase, salaries, training and any necessary maintenance in your restaurant.

Step 3. In the text box, enter the amount you want to transfer, click on the two arrows and then on "Confirm Transfer";

Hire employees

The company can not function without a chef, waiters and hosts. You will need at least one of each to run your business. However, candidates' salaries vary according to their level of ability in Culinary, Mixology, Physics, Charisma and Entertainment. That is, more experienced Sims are expensive. You can hire inexpensive employees in the beginning because you can offer an upgrade for them.

Step 4. On the "Manage Employees" button, choose Sims to work in your restaurant. Remember to check the level and salary of each;

Invest in training

As stated earlier, your Sim can pay for training for employees. In The Sims 4, advertising is also the lifeblood of the business. Or at least a way to attract more people to taste the food of your restaurant. Invest whatever you find necessary, but be careful. Leave the restaurant prepared and staffed enough to meet the demand of customers who will discover your new business.

Edit the menu

The menu can be customized according to your taste or the cuisine of the restaurant. However, each dish has a different level of difficulty to be prepared. That said, make sure your chef has enough skill to deliver the gastronomic experience you are offering. Another detail is that Sim can add other recipes, which do not appear in the list, by pressing the plus sign (+).

Step 9. Go to the "Restaurant Settings" screen;
