The Titan class is known to be more defensive or direct attack, with great emphasis on physical advances against opponents. In Destiny 2, this has not changed much, but its two subclasses present at the launch give a little more material for you to work on and play in different ways.

Titan is one of the main classes of Destiny 2

During the launch the Titan class has two subclasses that bring the skills that will really shape the way you will play. Subclasses are called Sentinel and Striker.

Sentinel

The Sentinel subclass provides abilities based on the use of the Void element, making your character more aggressive or defensive depending on your playing style. A proof of this is his special ability, which brings a shield.

Super Ability : Sentinel Shield - Press L1 + R1 on PS4 or LB + RB on Xbox One when you have the special full to create a light shield. Holding L2 or LT, it is possible to defend against enemy attacks, while using R2 or RT, your character throws the shield, causing considerable damage to opponents.

Class skills

  • Towering Barricade : Hold B or Ball to create a barrier that protects you and allies against enemy attacks;
  • Rally Barricade : Hold B or Ball to create a small barrier that allows you to aim at enemies. Using this ability automatically reloads the equipped weapon.

Types of pomegranate

  • Magnetic Grenade : A grenade that sticks to enemies and explodes twice;
  • Voidwall Grenade : A grenade that creates a Void light wall. Enemies that touch this wall receive damage;
  • Suppressor Grenade : An explosive grenade that prevents opponents from using special abilities for a short time.

  • High Lift : Jumping when in the air causes you to be thrown higher;
  • Strafe Lift : Jump in the air to reach a slightly higher height, but having more steering control;
  • Catapult Lift : Jump in the air and be launched quickly.

Code of the Protector

The Code of the Protector path causes your character to have more defensive abilities to support a team. His skills are as follows:

  • Turn The Tide : Your shield lasts longer and increases physical attack power and reload speed;
  • Rallying Force : Eliminating enemies with physical attacks recovers your life and that of nearby allies;
  • Ward of Dawn : When the energy of your special ability is full, hold L1 and R1 or LB and RB to create a roundhouse that protects you and your allies;
  • Defensive Strike : Eliminate an enemy with physical attack to create a shield around you and nearby allies.

Code of the Aggressor

While the Code of the Protector's path seeks to create shields to defend you and your allies, Code of the Agressor, as its name suggests, has a much more aggressive style of facing the battlefield. His skills are as follows:

  • Shield Bash : After running towards the enemy, using a physical attack generates a shield that hits the opponents and leaves them stunned;
  • Superior Arsenal : Eliminating enemies with a grenade causes her energy to recover faster;
  • Second Shield : Earn one more shield throw when the Sentinel Shield ability is active;
  • In The Trenches : Eliminating enemies when surrounded by them causes the energy of your special ability to recover faster.

Striker

The second subclass of Titan uses the Arc elemental to bolster their abilities. Present since the first game, she has not changed that much since then, save for her special ability, which has become more devastating in the sequel. A subclass well suited for those who prefer to inflict nonsensical damage on enemies.

Super Skill: Fists of Havoc - Pressing L1 + R1 on PS4 or LB + RB on Xbox One, you jump and punch the ground, dealing damage in area. One difference from this ability to your first game version is that it now runs for time, allowing you to take more than one attack per use.

  • Catapult Lift : Jump in the air and be launched quickly.

  • Frontal Assault : Make a physical attack on an enemy to reload your weapon and make it stable;
  • Reversal : Physically attacking someone initiates their regeneration of energy;
