Instagram Stories: how to mark location without displaying your post in Explore

Since last Tuesday (23), Instagram started to show a new ring of stories in the Explore tab, according to the users' location. Videos and photos with place marker can be available on this tab. To disable the feature, you must make a manual adjustment to apply the location sticker to Stories without running the risk of making the content public. Learn in the following tutorial how to prevent your posts from falling on the Explore tab.

Step 3. To take the photo or video from public access, touch the "x" next to the location. From there the publication automatically leaves the ring of stories of your locality. To be sure, go to the Explore tab and re-view posts posted in nearby places.

Delete post from public view

The site-based stories released on the Explore tab are available for Android and iOS (iPhone) phones starting with version 10.22 of Instagram, which is now available for download from the official App Store and Google Play stores.
