Sharing Instagram Stories by Direct Message

The Instagram launched on Tuesday (12) a feature that facilitates the sharing of stories by direct. That is, by direct message. With the news, it is possible to privately send a photo or video published in the Stories of a person you follow - be it for a single contact or a group of friends. The content is then shared by the chat and disappears when the story expires.

It's worth noting that you can prevent your followers from sharing your stories. Just disable the feature in the "history settings". Also, if you have a private account, only your followers can see your story in direct. Here's how to use the new feature available for Android or iPhone (iOS) phones.

New Instagram feature lets you share Stories by direct message

Step 1. Open Instagram and view the story you want to send privately. Tap the sharing icon in the lower right corner of the screen;

Open the story you want to share

Step 2. Select a friend or group to send the story. If you want, you can add a message by tapping "Write a message";
