Using location on photos on your phone can be a risk; learn to disable

Posting photos on social networks, such as Facebook and Instagram, revealing your current location may seem like a harmless practice, but it poses a real security risk. According to the alarm monitoring company ADT, malicious people find good opportunities through the ease of obtaining information and benefit from the ingenuity of users to act. Still according to the company, criminals can monitor their victims to find out when they are traveling and thus have no trouble invading the house.

Fortunately, Android smartphones and iPhones (iOS) allow you to disable the geocalling feature so that this information is not exposed. See, in the following tutorial, how to keep your phone's geolocator turned off, activating it only when necessary.
