Gboard has advanced text editing; learn how to use

Gboard for Android has a tool that makes it easy to edit text on your phone - especially long ones, with multiple lines and paragraphs. The feature allows the user to move the cursor sideways and up / down as if using the computer. It is also possible to go to the beginning or end of the text quickly - function of the "Home" and "End" keys on the PC keyboard.

In the next step, learn how to access and use the Google keyboard text editing tool. It is worth remembering that the feature is exclusive to Android smartphones and there is no forecast when it will reach the iPhone version (iOS).

Step 1. When editing text in any application, touch the Google icon and then the three-point button.

Access the Gboard tool menu

Step 2. Touch "Edit text". You can use the arrow keys to move the cursor quickly. Use the "Select" function to mark the text as you move the cursor. The keys on the right allow you to select all text, copy and paste quickly. Finally, in the lower arrows, you can go to the beginning or end of the text.
