Power Clean promises cleaning and optimization of Android; learn how to use

Power Clean is an application for cleaning and optimizing Android. Available on the Google Play Store, the app is free and does not even require registration. Simply install and use the features, which promise to make your phone faster, safer and with more free storage space. The platform has several features like unnecessary file cleanup, RAM boost, battery saving and antivirus.

The following tutorial teaches you to use each of them. The procedure was done on a Moto G5S Plus with Android 7.1.1, but can be played on any smartphone with Android 4.1 or later.

Clean waste

Step 1. Once you install Power Clean, a "What's New" screen will open. Tap the "Open Already" or "X" button to close the message and go to the main screen. From there, go to "Clean Residuals, " which will delete useless files such as cache and wastes from uninstalled apps.

Step 2. Wait for Power Clean to perform a full scan of the system's applications and services. When it is finished, press "Clean Waste". When the "Cleaning Complete" message appears, tap the arrow at the top of the screen to return to the main menu.

Boost Memory

Step 1. Back to the main menu, select "Boost Memory" function that frees up RAM. Wait for the process to scan the running apps and tasks.

Step 2. Touch the "Boost" button when scanning is complete. You can uncheck one or more boxes to maintain a certain service. When you finish releasing the RAM, Power Clean will display the "Clean Completion" status and you can return to the initial screen.

Battery saving

Step 1. The "Battery Saving" feature forces apps to stop draining the Android battery, saving energy. Enter this option in the main menu and wait for Power Clean to do the analysis.

Step 2. Power Clean will indicate apps that are consuming a lot of power. Scroll down to view all, and deselect the ones you do not want to be stopped. Press "Hibernate" to force the selected applications to stop.

Step 3. The first time you run the feature on your phone, you'll need to give Power Clean permission to use Android Accessibility. Tap "Ok" to have the app redirect you to the "Accessibility" screen under the "Configure" menu, and then enter "Power Clean".

Step 1. Finally, go into "Antivirus" so that Power Clean scans Android for malware and other problems. In the first step, it will analyze your Wi-Fi network.
