Blocking comments in a LinkedIn post

On LinkedIn, preventing other users from commenting on your posts can be helpful. Reading what people have to say about your publications helps to promote the dialogue, but in some situations you may prefer to keep that option off - especially since social networking is used for professional relationships. See step-by-step how to block comments on specific posts.

The procedure was done in two ways: on the PC, using Google Chrome, and in the mobile app, using the Moto G5 with Android 7.0 Nougat.

In the web version

Step 1. After clicking the text box to write a publication, the "Publish Settings" button will be revealed. Click on it to expand more options;

Step 2. Go to the "Comments" section and uncheck the "Allow comments in this post" option.

Step 1. Open the Linkedin app. In the lower right corner, click to write a publication;
