How to learn English by listening to music

LyricsTraining is a site that helps you learn English and 12 other languages through music clips. The proposal is simple: while watching a video, the user must fill in the words that are missing in the lyrics. Thus, the platform allows to practice listening and to train the pronunciation in the foreign language.

LyricsTraining offers four levels of difficulty: beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert, according to the number of words that must be filled. Step 1. Go to LyricsTraining (lyricstraining.com) and, in the upper right corner of the site, choose the language you want to practice or the music genre of your choice. If you prefer, directly enter the name of the song in the search bar;

You can find the desired music through three different paths

Step 2. After choosing the desired music, select a game mode according to the difficulty level;

Step 3. Before you start playing, you can decide whether you want to spell the words completely in the "write mode" option, or choose the correct term from a list in "choice mode". Then press the play button;

Step 4. Begin to fill in the words. If you want to hear the last verse again, press the spacebar. If you want to skip a word, press the tab key or press the arrow in the lower right corner. Both actions are penalized with loss of points. Errors also make the score decrease.
