How to Feature Stories on Instagram

Instagram now allows the user to highlight photos and videos published in Stories. The feature, called 'Highlight', keeps certain stories separate from the others at the top of your profile on the social network. The image will be highlighted indefinitely until you remove or expire it and be archived. The novelty is useful for those who usually add many photos and videos and want to highlight the most important moments.

Learn how to use the new Instagram Stories Highlight

Step 1. Open your Instagram story and find the photo or video you want to highlight. Then touch "Highlight" in the lower right corner of the screen. Now write a name for the featured story and tap "Add";

Step 2. The image or video will be highlighted in a separate section, at the top of your Instagram profile. Touch "View in profile" to check the result;

Step 3. Touch the highlighted story to view it. If you want to remove the highlight or edit the information, touch the "More" button in the lower right corner of the screen.

Editing or removing a story from the highlights
