How to use as a Wi-Fi router on the Galaxy S9

The Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus can become portable Wi-Fi router without needing any applications. The feature allows the user to share the 4G internet from the phone with the notebook or tablet, among other devices. That way you are not disconnected while traveling or are in a meeting outside the home or office.

Step 1. Access your smartphone settings. To do this, open the notification center by pressing the top bar (where the time is) and dragging down. Touch the gear icon.

Step 2. Go to "Connections" and then "Wi-Fi Router and Dock".

Step 3. Touch "Wi-Fi Router". The system generates an automatic name for the Wi-Fi network, with the term "AndroidAP" followed by random characters. If you want to change it, press on the name of the connection.

Step 4. Type the new name and press "Save". As with the name, the system also generates a random password. If you want to change, touch "Password".

Step 5. Enter your new password and tap "Save". When the configuration is complete, turn on the key that is on the right side of "Off". You can enable and disable the Wi-Fi router by tapping this button.

Save your new password and activate the Galaxy S9 Wi-Fi router.

Step 6. You can also enable the Wi-Fi router through the shortcuts in the notification center. Just press on the two traces and drag down. Then touch "Wi-Fi Router" to enable and disable the feature.
