YouTube reminds you to pause videos; learn how to use

YouTube has enabled the option to enable a reminder to pause videos. The novelty is already part of the digital wellness initiative presented at the Google I / O 2018 congress by the search giant and can be very useful for those who spend hours watching movies on the platform. You can select to have alerts displayed every 15, 30, 60, 90, or 180 minutes.

YouTube reminder suggests pausing videos

Step 1. Open the YouTube app as usual and click on your profile photo in the upper right corner to access your account preferences. On the next screen, touch "Settings";

Step 2. Choose the "General" option and then go to "Reminder to pause";

Step 3. Soon, the app will suggest some time interval option to display the pause reminder. Touch the one of your choice. In our tutorial, we select the option 15 minutes. After this period, the message below will appear, reminding you of the importance of stopping.
