What is Uber Lite? Learn how to download and use the lightest version of the app

Uber Lite is a more economical version of the Uber app, which is available to users of Android phones. The platform promises to consume less storage and processing space. With only 5 megabytes, the application requires little from the Internet and can work in places where mobile coverage does not offer fast connection. In this way, the alternative tool also saves data by spending less data of the contracted franchise without compromising the operation of the service.

How to download Uber Lite

Step 1. Download Uber Lite from the Uber Lite page. To do this, click the "Download" button on the right side of the screen;

Step 2. You will be redirected to the app page in the Google Play Store. From there, press the "Install" button to add the application to your smartphone.

How to configure Uber Lite

Step 1. At the welcome screen, tap the "Start Already" button to start the setup. At that point, add your area code phone number and go to "Next";

Step 2. Enter the code sent by SMS to your cell phone and tap the "Next" button. Once this is done, allow the application to use the location of the device to complete the configuration.

Step 1. Select the "Your current location" option and, in the next window, tap the search bar;

How to access Uber Lite settings

Step 1. From the home screen, touch the avatar icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Then check out all the options offered by the app. You can check your travels, change or remove payment methods, view promotions, app settings, and platform support.
