Instagram displays some common colors just above the keyboard. However, you can view the entire palette by touching any of them and holding your finger down for a few seconds. As soon as it appears, drag your finger to the desired hue and release to apply.

4. Select a color from the photo

To make the text even more personalized, you can use a text color that matches the photo. This is a simple task with the help of the Instagram Stories color selection tool. Tap the button represented by the eyedropper icon. Then simply drag the point to the desired color of the image to use in the text.

You can add a background color to your texts by tapping the button to the left of the font name. The feature is useful for improving the readability of words in backgrounds with color variation. Immediately after touching the button, set a color in the palette above the keyboard. The previous tips are worth it: keep your finger pressed to display the full palette or use the selection tool to choose a color from the photo.

6. Create historical text

Stories allows you to create a narrative in the stories and this can be done by adding multiple pictures with text. To do this, write the first sentence and save the photo in your gallery. Then add a new sentence and save the image again. For best results, it is recommended not to touch the previous text. Repeat as many times as necessary. Finally, just publish the images in order of creation to get the effect.
