How to postpone an email in Gmail for Android

Step 1. Open Gmail on your phone and tap a message from your inbox. Then, access the menu represented by the three-point icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 2. Touch "Defer". The app will show the automatic postponement options. You can choose between "Later today", "Tomorrow", "This weekend" and "Next week". To customize a time, touch "Choose date and time".

Step 3. Select a date in the calendar and tap "OK". In the next window, touch the time that appears.

Step 1. Enter the "Delayed" marker by tapping your finger on a message and tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then just tap "Do not postpone" so that the message goes back to the inbox.
