The Telegram has been updated to version 4.8.3 and among the novelties is the permission to modify a photo or video already sent, even after being delivered to the recipient. The feature works similarly to text message editing, which has been around for some time. The feature is useful for someone who has mistakenly uploaded an image and wants to replace it with the correct one without deleting the previous one. With the change, the messenger leaves in front of WhatsApp, which does not offer similar technology.

Procedure on iPhone

Step 1. Locate the message with the photo you want to replace and hold your finger on it. Then touch "Edit."

Step 3. If you want, you can also edit the caption of the photo by tapping on the text. Finally, press the send icon (blue arrow) to replace the image in the original message.
