How to enable HDMI CEC on AOC smart TV

Most AOC TVs with HDMI ports already support Consumer Electronics Control (CEC). The feature, while little known, allows the TV and other devices to share picture, sound, and even picture and sound adjustments. With the function, the user can avoid the manual adjustment in each of the equipments.

With CEC enabled on your TV, any compatible device, such as a Chromecast or video game console, can send commands to the TV and leave it ready for content playback, even when the TV is turned off. In the tutorial below, TechTudo details how to enable and configure the feature on compatible AOC smart TVs.

Ready! Your smart AOC TV is now ready to receive commands from electronics connected via HDMI. However, for the feature to work properly, remember that the device connected to the TV also needs to support CEC functionality and can not have the TV as its power source. Otherwise, whenever the TV is turned off, the power supply to the connected device will also be shut down.
