LinkedIn displays profiles of people close to you to enable new connections on the social network. The "In your area" function is based on the range of Bluetooth to show active contacts in that environment and allows you to find contacts at work, events or meetings. It should be noted that other people should also have Bluetooth enabled to be found.

Linkedin has Bluetooth enabled function

Step 1. Open LinkedIn and tap the "My Network" tab. Then touch the "In your area" button in the top menu - it will notify you of the deactivation;

Step 2. Activate your phone's Bluetooth. After that, the next people will already appear on the screen. Click on the photo to open the profile or click on the icon with the "+" symbol to add it to your connections;

Step 3. In the "People in your area can discover you" option, you can set the best days and times to be found by the function. Remember that when you disable Bluetooth on your phone, the service stops working.
