How to comment in bold, italic, and scratched on YouTube

YouTube allows you to make bold, italic, and scratched comments. However, the text box does not have any buttons for quick formatting. To customize the letters, the user must know the commands that include these styles in advance.

Step 1. Open the YouTube app and enter the desired video to play it. Scroll down to the "Comments" section and tap the "Add a public comment" box.

Step 2. To comment in bold, insert the asterisk (*) before and after the text as indicated below.

Step 3. To write italic, enter the underline sign (_) at the beginning and end of the text.
