Placing and sending an autoresponder in WhatsApp is possible with WhatsAuto. The free app for Android phones allows you to automate some actions on the messenger. Among them is the possibility of defining a message as an automatic response to conversations received on the platform. The feature is useful for when the user can not return at the moment and does not want to leave their friends or clients unanswered for long.

Step 1. Install WhatsAuto on your phone. When you open the app for the first time, the tool will prompt you for access to the files, click "Continue". Grant permission if you want to use the save status of your contacts. To use the auto-reply feature this permission is not required;

Step 2. Choose the text for the autoresponder. Use one of the options in the list or tap the pencil icon to write a custom message. In this case, enter your default response and tap "Done" to complete;

Step 3. To enable WhatsAuto's automatic response, check the key to the right of "Auto Answer Off". The first time you do this, you'll need to allow the app to access Android notifications. To do this, activate the indicated option and confirm;

Step 4. With the WhatsAuto auto-reply function enabled, any messages received in WhatsApp will be answered with the text set. To turn off the feature, go to your smartphone's notification center and tap "Turn off."
