Displaying the battery percentage in Android O (8)

Android 8.0 Oreo does not show by default the percentage of your smartphone battery, but this feature does exist and can be turned on very simply. This allows the user to keep track of the exact level of mobile phone charging at all times and to know when it is time to put the device back in the socket. Here's how to display the percentage of the battery in the top bar of your screen.

The procedures were performed on a Xiaomi Mi A1, but work the same way on other devices. On smartphones with custom interfaces by manufacturers such as Samsung or LG, the process may be a bit different.

Procedure

Step 1. Access the phone settings by tapping "Configure".

Step 2. In the menu that will open, select "Battery".
