How to change time in Minecraft

Minecraft allows you to change the time by means of commands. Mojang's block-building game lets the player build buildings, forts, or real cities, as well as change the weather by using special codes - it is possible to activate rain or snow, for example. Check out the step-by-step tutorial below on how to enable storms or turn the environment to sun and night.

To make the changes of time in the game, it is necessary to activate the function of cheats. When creating your world, go to "More World Options" (see the photo below);

Step 1. Find the "Allow Cheats" option and mark it as "On". From this you can use codes to change the weather and weather in Minecraft;

Step 2. Access your world and press T on the keyboard to open the text window, which will appear at the bottom of the screen (see photo);

Rain

To make it rain in your world, type "/ weather rain" (without the quotes, see the photo) and press Enter.

To make snow in your world, you need to go to one of the snowy parts of the map. When you find the location, open the text window (by pressing T) and type "/ weather rain" (without the quotes, see the photo) and press Enter.

To see a lightening storm in your world, it must be raining. Open the text window (by pressing T) and type "/ weather thunder" (without the quotes, see the photo) and press Enter.

Another nice option is to change the periods of the day using special Minecraft codes. After enabling cheats, access your world, press T to open the text window and enter one of the codes below:

To make it stay at night in your world, type "/ time set night" (without the quotes, see the photo) and press Enter.
