Slim Drivers is a free software for Windows that tracks all the computer's drivers and tells which ones are outdated. In addition, the program downloads the latest software, although it does not automatically do so in the free version. Performing Backup

To make major changes to your computer, it is interesting to save your files in some way. Slim Drivers offers this option through a Backup made in the software itself. The program organizes the folders you want to save and makes the job easier.

Step 1: Click the "Backup" tab and then the "Backup to" button;

Step 2. Choose the folder where you want to save the backup file;

Searching for updates

Since the system already has a backup, you can search for updates available on your drivers.

Step 1. Go to the "Home" tab and click the "Start Scan" button to scan the PC for all installed drivers;

Step 2. Choose which driver you want to update first and click "Download update" next to it. Then follow the steps that Windows will display on the screen. It is worth remembering that each driver will have specific instructions and that it will be necessary to restart the PC with each updated driver;

Restoring faulty drivers

If a driver is not working well even after one of these updates, the best solution is to do a restore, going back to the previous version. To do this, click on "Restore", and then the "Restore from" button. Then just choose the backup file that was previously saved.
