WhatsApp stickers: learn how to send the sticker on the Android app

WhatsApp finally released the use of stickers on the messenger, this Wednesday (24). The app now offers 12 packets of cards, which can be sent and received in individual chats or in groups. In this way, users gain one more way to interact with contacts in a fun and dynamic way. The update was made in version 2.18.329 for Android and version 2.18.100 of the iPhone app (iOS). However, the novelty will be released gradually for users of Apple devices.

The images of the update are static so far, but according to the WABetaInfo portal, the application will win animated stickers soon. This feature has been present for a long time in rival Telegram, which allows even create custom figures. Other changes can be expected to WhatsApp which, as published by the same site, should release an application lock option via iPhone Touch ID and Face ID.

The location of the sticker should be somewhat different between operating systems, but the usage mode and the design packages remain the same. Step 1. Open the conversation in WhatsApp and click on the messenger keyboard, indicated with the keyboard icon in the text box. Note that there is a new tab, besides emojis and GIFs. Touch it to open the stickers menu;

Step 2. By default, the new function only carries the "Cuppy" package, with cups. WhatsApp included four shortcuts to separate different categories of figurine and group them with happy face, with hearts, sad and also with astonishment. Tap the sticker icon to see all of the package drawings. Just give a simple touch on the sticker to send it through the chat. More pictures can be downloaded by pressing the "+" button;
